After deliberating, and counting expenses for this new adventure of genuinely living together, Sakiko and Hatsune (publicly known as Uika), have decided to move into a bigger house.

They both had their own spacious rooms in a spacious 2LDK with an attic.

As how Sakiko put it, “So that we could still gaze upon the stars.”

It was one thing she knew that was extremely important to Hatsune, who said she didn’t mind not having them, but it was a non-negotiable for the stubborn Togawa heiress.

Both of their rooms were next to each other’s separated by walls, and outside of their doors was the connected living room, then the dining and kitchen towards the front.

The two of them now had more privacy, but there was one thing that Hatsune could never get used to.

“Saki-chan~” Hatsune knocked on Sakiko’s door. “Are you free now?”

“Yes, come in.” Sakiko answered as she turned to the door.

Hatsune opened the door, her eyes widened in surprise, then she closed it. “S- Saki-chan! I told you, I can’t go in when you’re the middle of changing clothes! How many times has this been…”

“Oh my.” came Sakiko’s soft voice.

Hatsune shook her head as she tried to rid her mind of that white skin on Sakiko’s stomach, and inner thighs. “Ahhh! Erase! Erase! Bad!”

“I thought it was okay, we are both girls, Hatsune.”

“I- It’s not okay…” Hatsune responded in an almost whisper. “Because, I look at you properly, as a woman, and not just another girl.”

“Th- That’s true. I’m sorry, Hatsune.” Sakiko’s voice was soft and apologetic; it made the blonde feel bad.

“It’s all right…” It’s not all right! Hatsune shook her head once the imagery tried to intrude in her mind once again. “Rich ladies are scary… Are they all like this?” It made her want to ask Mutsumi if Sakiko was always this way, but it made her fear that the answer could hurt her gravely.

“Hatsune. You can go in now.”

“Okay.” Hatsune turned the knob to open the door, she peeked her head in with eyes closed.

Sakiko turned to her then sighed. “What are you doing?”

“Making sure…” One purple eye peeked carefully, then another, taking in Sakiko’s unusual choice of pajamas for today.

Long sleeves and really short shorts.

“I properly have clothes on.” Sakiko gave her a wry smile as Hatsune sighed in relief. “Well? What was it?”

“Ah…” Hatsune walked inside Sakiko’s room in their shared house as she tried to think of it. Sakiko walked behind her to close the door, then returned to standing in front of her. All the while Hatsune eyed her while she thought of why she was there in the first place. “What was it… Um…”

“You really are dense sometimes, aren’t you, Hatsune?” Sakiko carefully removed one of her hair’s ribbons as she swiftly hand combed her braids.

“E- Eh? Wh- What did you…” Purple eyes blinked in confusion, as golden ones sparkled in mischieviousness.

“Did you really think that I was the type to just let people in while I undress?” Sakiko gently set her ribbon down the nearby table. “I hope you have not gotten to the point of thinking if every single rich lady does the same?”

“Uh…” Hatsune blinked, slightly flinching at being caught for having that actual thought only a few moments ago.

“I just… I know it’s normal for other girls to change clothes together, but I just…” Hatsune blushed as she scratched her cheek. “I’m not a normal girl, I… harbor, feelings, for you. As one woman to another.”

Sakiko’s cheeks were tinged with pink as she gently untied her other ribbon, and hand combed her braids. “I am aware. Would you tell me once more?”

Hatsune blinked and swallowed the large lump in her throat. “I love you, Saki-chan.”

“…and I feel the same with you.” Sakiko put the other ribbon on the table and tilted her head to the side as she watched Hatsune, purple orbs to gold. “…Is it hard to believe?”

“Uu… B- Because, it’s not, right…? It’s unforgivable.” Hatsune turned away from Sakiko’s gaze as she held both of her own hands together, in an attempt to calm herself.

“What I’m saying is, I am forgiving now, that which you found unforgivable, is it still unbelievable?” Sakiko sighed as she turned away from Hatsune. “And here I thought that purposely letting you walk in on me while I changed clothes was enough urging to let you know that it’s all right to make a move on me.”

“E- Eh? Saki-chan… That’s…”
“Ah. I thought of something else.” Sakiko turned to Hatsune once again with a sweet smile. “Hatsune, would you close your eyes for me?”

“O- Okay…” Hatsune faced forward as she felt Sakiko took a step closer to her.

Not knowing what to expect, she waited patiently… until she felt a soft and warm sensation over her lips.

“Eh?” Hatsune opened her eyes as she was face to face at close proximity with Sakiko, who also had just opened her eyes.

“Would you still deny this? It was my first kiss, you know?” Sakiko told her bashfully.

“I- It was my first, too…” Hatsune looked down at the floor in between them as she fidgeted her fingers. “Saki-chan… Is it really okay?”

Sakiko tilted her head to the side with an amused expression. “…You sure are stubborn with the oddest things. Yes, I am saying it is.”

“But…” Hatsune looked up only to feel a soft index finger over her lips.

“Hatsune.” Sakiko wrapped an arm around Hatsune’s shoulders as she closed in, her finger still over Hatsune’s lips. “I love you, too.”

“Saki-…chan…” Hatsune inhaled deeply as she felt her attention drowning into those eyes that glimmered like the milky way.

“…Are you going to kiss me? Or am I going to kiss you?” Sakiko smiled at her playfully.

Without saying anything else, Hatsune wrapped her arms around Sakiko’s waist, as she captured those warm lips into a long, and sweet kiss. She let their lips linger on together for a long while before she started moving, a little more hungrily as she deepened the kiss.

Afraid to go further, Hatsune slightly parted from the kiss after feeling Sakiko’s hand tightly grab onto her shirt.

Sakiko panted as she leaned her cheek onto Hatsune’s shoulders. “…You seem quite used to this.”

“I- I’ve only dreamed of doing this with you, Saki-chan!”

“I was kidding.” Sakiko giggled as she smiled at Hatsune. “…Well?”

“Eh?” Hatsune blinked at her.

“…You wanted to tell me something?” Sakiko gave her an amused smile.

“Ah… I forgot.” Hatsune grinned at her, then the two of them laughed.

Umiri impatiently tapped her foot on the floor as she intensely stared at the Ave Mujica group chat.

“I sent Misumi-san to ask Togawa-san about one phrase in the new song, but now both of them are not responding to me…”

She started pacing around her home, antsy, worried.

“Do they still find me untrustworthy? What do I have to do? Misumi-san! Togawa-san!”

(END/Misumi Hatsune’s “Love”)

After having given up on remembering what she was supposed to tell Sakiko about when she entered her room, she stared at Sakiko’s eyes with a lost puppy expression.

“What is it?”

“…Can I kiss you again?”

Sakiko laughed and gave her a pat on the head instead of responding. “Uika was quite the energetic person, if I remember correctly, but Hatsune, you are kind of like a puppy.”

“Eh?” Hatsune looked at her in confusion.

“You’re obedient and gentle, and you always look like a lost puppy when you’re sad.” Sakiko giggled. “I think it’s adorable, it’s like owning a golden retriever.”

Hatsune pouted at her as she tightened her hug around Sakiko’s waist. “Saki-chan…”

“Yes, you can. Now, please stop pouting.” Sakiko wrapped her arms around Hatsune’s shoulders once again as they shared another sweet kiss.

Their third, soon to be fourth kiss was interrupted by Sakiko’s phone vibrating on the table.

Hatsune’s eyes suddenly opened as she parted from the kiss. “Ahhh!! I remember now. Umiri-chan!”

Sakiko looked at her in surprise. “Umiri-san?”

“She wanted to ask me to ask you about the bass part of the new song, because you weren’t responding to her.”

Sakiko giggled and smiled at her. “I wasn’t responding to her, so she’d ask you to ask me, so you’d come to me.”

“Ehhhh…?” Hatsune blinked in confusion.

Sakiko sighed. “I was out of methods, you know? No matter what I do, you’d never make a move. So I thought, I’d have to take the matters into my own hands.”

“I kind of feel bad for Umiri-chan now…” Hatsune frowned as she softly let go of Sakiko’s waist. “We should respond to her before she starts worrying.”

“I agree.” Sakiko smiled and patted Hatsune’s head once again before turning towards the table to pick up her phone.

“Saki-chan…”

“Yes?”

“You… I… We’re… together now, right?”

“If that’s what you want.”

“Ah…” Hatsune blinked. “Saki-chan… Would you be my lover?”

Sakiko turned to look at her phone, but before turning her attention to it, she turned to Hatsune with a sweet smile.

“Of course, it would be my pleasure, Hatsune.”
